Agenda kami yang seterusnya ke Bayon yang terletak di Angkor Thom. Boleh refer map on previous
post on Ta Prohm for location. Bayon merupakan salah satu temple yang paling famous di Angkor Complex ni dan sering menjadi kunjungan pelancong disebabkan keunikan temple nya yang terdapat banyak ukiran stone faces. According to scholars, King Jayavarman VII bears a strong resemblance to the face towers of the Bayon.
Angkor Thom literally means “Great City” and was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Like Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom juga dibina semasa pemerintahan Jayavarman VII, king yang paling hebat dan paling lama memerintah. Like Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom juga berbentuk square seperti kubu yang dikelilingi oleh moat or parit. For more info -->
