Finally, we're here... our past 3 months plan. Actually, this my second to Singapore & first time to USS. Since, Friday 16th in Malaysia was a public Holiday, so, we grabbed this opportunity to spend a day at USS... save our leave for the next trip.
Ticket to USS can be bought
online or on the spot. But, since we've heard so many stories that they will be a long queue... emmmhhh... we decided to buy online jer. If you're mastercard holder you will get 20% discount on the online ticket purchase. So, you need to pay only SGD52.80 (MYR132) after the discount. Thanks to mastercard holder yang tolong book kan tu yea. I really appreciate that. But still... you have to queue to get inside. You can skip the queue if you buy an express ticket with the additional SGD30 from the original price ticket.
Now, the real adventure is going to begin.
Once you entered the USS, you must first find the map and the schedule shows of the day. Don’t worry as you can find all this anywhere... everywhere. Then, with the map on your hand, start to plan which zone will you go first and don't forget, plan also which show you will plan to go. Some of the show is already scheduled the time, so, try to be at every scheduled show early or else you will miss the best seat. So, try to plan wisely. Like us, what we did, we started with nearest zone from the entrance and follow the map. So, since the Madagascar crate adventure is opened anytime and the nearest, so, we headed there first before to Shrek 4D adventure at 10.45 a.m.

All zones come with different attraction, fantastic adventure and awesome performance, stunts and shows. So, do come early and try every adventures, watch every stage show, enjoy the street entertainment, meet & greet with the popular character in films and experienced the unbelievable live shows. Please be early or else you will miss a lot of best things.

Madagascar
Our first destination in USS... Madagascar. Based on the hit DreamWorks Animation film, Madagascar, this zone brings you to a dense tropical jungle, filled with strange and wonderful animals.
A Crate Adventure
Join Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria, the four heroes from DreamWorks Animation's blockbuster movie Madagascar, as they embark on an unforgettable river boat ride adventure in Madagascar. Be careful, you will experience an unexpected ride along the journey. So, wait for it… we already experienced it. One of my unforgettable moment in USS… bila ingat balik mesti nak ketawa sorang2.

A short street entertainment from Madagascar character. So cute and very entertaining. Don’t forget to catch the show and come 'move it move it' with the cast. I like. This is the scheduled show, so, for show times refer to the show schedule, OK.

Shrek 4-D Adventure
This is a must see show. You will see, hear and really feel the action right from your seat as you join Shrek & Donkey in a fairytale adventure to save Princess Fiona. This 4-D adventure film experience complete with jumps, bumps, bounces, air blasts and water spray that bring the action to life for each guest with an extra dimension of special effects through the miracle of Special glasses.

Our Next destinaion...
This zone is divided into two theme areas… Jurassic Park and Water World. If you were the fan of this two blockbuster movies, then, you must come and feel the real adventure here.
Unfortunately, at this time, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure was under maintenance and not available to park guests. Based on the USS website, it will only reopen in early 2012. Felt a bit disappointed because I was told by my colleague that this one of the best adventure in The Lost World zone. Emmhhh… what to do?

Canopy Flyer
We did not have a chance to enjoy this adventerous Canopy flyer as they are too many of them. A very long queue you have to wait. Can u imagine two times we came here but still too many of people queuing. Last2, emmmhhh… forget it.
Water World
Based on the blockbuster film, "Waterworld", which is one of my favourite childhood movie, cast by Kevin Costner. Here, you will witness a spectacular stunts, along with thrills and spills from real explosions of fire and water at this sensational live water show. But, please be aware of unexpected water show in the opening of this show… be alert with your chosen seat or else you will get wet. So, do bring your own raincoat or you can buy at USS at SGD2.
We managed to catch the show on time and luckily picked the right seat. But, in the middle of this show, there were a technical problem which stop the show for about 10 minutes. Huh…luckily the show was awesome. Anyway, this is one of my favorite shows at USS.

Ancient Egypt
The next adventure…
You will encounter Egyptian Royalty and the Army of Anubis as you experience the Golden Age of Ancient Egypt. The most attracted here was… Revenge of the Mummy. For this thrill adventure you are not allowed to bring along anything with you. So, before you can enter inside you have to put all your belongings outside. Don’t worry if no one can keep your things, you still have an option to keep it inside the locker provided which is free for 20 minutes and after that, you will be charged for SGD 2 for every half and hour. Luckily, five of us belongings can fit into one locker only.
Revenge of the Mummy
Feel the Experience of an Indoor high speed roller coaster. This is really thrill…totally dark… especially when the roller coaster suddenly reversed… hahaha. I was closing my eyes and keep screaming all time… don’t know what happened to me but I really felt regret after that because I missed to watch the moment inside the darkness.

Battlestar Galactica
One of the attraction here is High speed roller coaster. You can choose either HUMAN or CYLON… Themed after the hit television series Battlestar Galactica, These spectacular coasters offer a truly exhilarating adventure as you twist, turn and drop in an intense aerial dogfight. Riders on both coasters will experience unbelievable thrills as they race towards each other and nearly collide. Hahaha… really unbelievable.
The HUMAN is a seated roller coaster while the CYLON is a suspended roller coaster. But one thing for sure, these two will turn your world upside down as it runs through a vertical loop, corkscrew and cobra roll.
Anyway, we did it with fear.

After the Sci-Fi City, we rest for a while and having short break for lunch at oasis café. One of the Halal food outlet available here. I bought a lunch set, “Ramessis” at a cost of SGD13 not included the drinks. Anyway, the food taste… very OK.

Feel the spirit and energy of America’s biggest and grandest city as you stroll along the sidewalks and enjoy all the classic landmarks. The most exciting here is Lights, Camera, Action. I truly luv it.
Lights, Camera, Action is the Movie special effects show hosted by Steven Spielberg. Inside this indoor show,you will be blown away by incredible special effects as an empty soundstage becomes the setting for a Category 5 major hurricane about to hit New York City. As you stand in a boat house by the harbor, you will watch how a calm day suddenly turns stormy. Very fantastic show and it looks very real.

Step onto Hollywood world... experienced the dynamic & unique architecture, step into the famous Walk of Fame... and feel as if you have landed in the center of the entertainment universe.
Pantages Hollywood Theater featuring Monster Rock
Broadway musicals which you will watch the Universal Classic Monsters are transformed into modern rock-n-roll stars. This show features great music, dancing, comedy, special effects, and enough pyrotechnics to wake the dead. Although the dancing was superb but to me, this show… biase2 jer but the only thing for sure both side of my seat… could hear snoring. Oppss!!!

Friends... Thanks to all your supports
After the show, it was already 5 p.m. and that time we started to search for place to pray. I went to one building which is located just at the entrance of the theme park and saw a few muslim people there. It was a small comfortable room located inside the admin building and next to the nursery which can fit in 10 people at one time. But, you have no choice other than to mix with the male since this is the only place you can pray. For ablution, you have to go to the nearest rest room.

After that, we continued to spend the balancing time we have… explore what else we can do. We spend time at King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round and also the Enchanted Airways, the family roller coaster... which is about 20 seconds ride.

We Jalan-jalan until 7 p.m, then, time to go home. Again, you have to take the Sentosa Monorail to return back to main station for interchange station to MRT. Don’t worry if you lost your return ticket because they did not check… lucky Boboy… if not, she had to pay SGD3.
Finally… end of our USS trip of the day.
See you again USS on the next trip.
Alhamdulillah, we returned with lots of joy and satisfaction.
