Exchange Rate: USD1 = RM4.16 = NPR104
Basic Budget
1. Return Ticket – RM1500 return (Malindo)
- Ticket jadi mahal sebab AA suddenly suspended flight ke Kathmandu Nov 2018 until further notice. Time ni pulalah nak suspended flight. Tak pasal2 aku kena beli Malindo last minute. Ciss. Dah over budget di sini.
- Mahal sebab kami bertiga. If more people, can get cheaper (less than USD1000)
- Review dulu package offered tu cover apa. Make sure permit, porter, guide & BLD during trekking already included. Insurance normally not Included.
3. Insurance – RM125 (16 days, Lonpac)
- Make sure yang cover medical evacuation & mountaineering at unlimited height. Tak pun yang boleh cover up to 6000m. Kalau kat EBC Trek, helicopter can reach up to Gorakshep (5180m)
4. Visa – RM95 (15 days)
5. Tip Porter – USD100 (shared 3 pax) – minimum tip for Everest Region katanya
6. Tip Guide – USD110 (shared 3 pax)
7. Makan-makan outside the trekking - RM120
- Budget makan lunch + dinner: RM30-RM40/day for 3 days
8. Budget untuk kegunaan sepanjang trekking.
- Nak order extra meals other than provided under package
- Nak order extra Hot water untuk minum (refer pic for price reference)
- Nak guna Hot shower
- Nak charge power bank - Kebanyakkan tea house/guesthouse kat EBC trek ni tak provide plug dalam bilik. Memang sengaja pun sebab nak suruh guest bayar kalau nak charge. Kami hanya dapat bilik yang ada plug di Namche. Itupun tak boleh guna. Bilik Uncle je yang boleh. Nasib baik. So, kami gunakan sebaik mungkin.
Miscellaneous
Simcard Ncell (5GB) 30days – NPR2000
** Ikut keperluan. Signal reception depend on location tapi dapat signal juga di Gorakshep
** Boleh beli di Namche juga untuk usage around Everest region.
Hot Shower (Namche) – NPR400
** Sepanjang trekking sempat mandi sekali saja. Musim sejuk, so, tak melengas sangat.
Charge Power Bank – NPR800 (for 10,000mAh) - Dingboche
Down Bootie – NPR1250 (Thamel)
Glove Inner – NPR300 (Namche)
BUFF EBC Map (Special Edition) – NPR2000 (khas untuk myself)
** Keperluan trekking lain, aku dah ada, so, basically beli yang tak ada saja.
Overall Budget less than RM7000
