Cerita yang sangat mendebarkan dengan plot penceritaan yang menarik. Kalau dah pernah pergi Everest or EBC mesti boleh fefeeling berada di kawasan kejadian.

This movie is based on the real events of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster that claimed the lives of eight climbers and guides following a storm and avalanche. This movie focuses on the survival attempts of two expedition groups, one led by Scott Fischer (guide for Mountain Madness) and the other by Rob Hall (Adventure Consultants).

In May 1996, two expeditions, Adventure Consultants and Mountain Madness, meet at base camp and prepare to summit Mount Everest in the following days. Rob Hall (Jason Clarke) is one of three guides for Adventure Consultants, whose eight clients include Beck Weathers (Josh Brolin), who had been climbing for ten years, Doug Hansen (John Hawkes), who was climbing to prove an ordinary man can pursue an extraordinary dream, and Yasuko Namba (Naoko Mori), who had previously climbed six of the Seven Summits and was attempting to become the oldest woman to summit Mt. Everest, Nepal.

Sepanjang menceburkan diri dalam extreme aktiviti ni, belum pernah pun pasang angan-angan nak capai ke puncak tertinggi dunia itu. Kalau ada pun dalam mimpi jelah. Sedar diri hanya pendaki runcitan sahaja. Rasanya, impian terus terkubur lepas tengok citer ni, hahaha. Nak tahu sebab apa, kena tengok dulu lah.

Salah satu sebab aku terpanggil nak tengor citer ni pun sebab aku memang dah pasang angan-angan nak ke Everest Base Camp next year. Actually, plan & budget semua dah start survey this year lagi cuma date & masa yang belum ditentukan. Member yang confirm nak pergi pun memang dah ada. InsyAllah, jika ekonomi & cuti mengizinkan, akan ke EBC kami tahun depan.
